Andrew lost his royal titles in October, including Duke of York, yet he remain sin the British line of succession.

On October 30, the former prince, along with his former wife Sarah Ferguson, lost his royal titles and was notified to vacate their residence of two decades, the Royal Lodge.

However, he remains eighth in line to the throne, as compared to his position as second in line when he was born to Queen Elizabeth II in 1960.

Speaking on his status, royal expert Hilary Fordwich said on Fox News Digital, it is “embarrassing”.

“Given Andrew’s ghastly behavior, his still being in the line of succession is … embarrassing at best.”, she said.

Despite his status, realistically it is unlikely he will ever become king as he is behind William, his kids and Harry along with his kids.

Hilary further said “Nevertheless, there is concern that any ad hoc removal of unpopular royals could make the institution look more like a political machine than a stable hereditary monarchy.”

Due to the grave accusations he faces and his links to late felon Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew lost all his titles and was declared to be called Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
