Anne Hathaway’s upcoming Mother Mary is all set to hit the theatres in April 2026 after its trailer was subjected to public scrutiny.
Turning deaf ear to the ongoing buzz, the 43-year-old actress raised eyebrows with her extremely packed schedule in the upcoming year.
The Devil Wears Prada star turned to her Instagram and updated the bio with all movies that are slated to release in 2026, seemingly bragging about her projects.
She listed four films that are dropping next year, including: Mother Mary in April 2026, The Devil Wears Prada 2 on May 1, The Odyssey movie on July 17, Verity movie on October 2.
In the musical drama, Anne is expected to play titular role of a popstar who reaches out to her friend, asking her to design a look for her comeback show.
Despite being appreciated for its dark theme, many expressed their unwillingness to stream the film due to involvement of “demonic” element in the storyline.
The online community were widely left puzzled with the twisted genre of the project, which categorised as psychosexual pop thriller.
As Charlie XCX and FK Twigs have produced the tracks of the upcoming movie, the 37-year-old English writer penned down a gratitude post for being able to contribute to the project.
