Vin Diesel shared a personal tribute to Paul Walker, filled with his remembrance over a decade after his tragic death.
On Sunday, November 30, the 58-year-old took to his Instagram, honoring him with a letter beneath a black and white memory of himself and Paul.
The renowned pair are Fast & Furious co-stars. Paul portrayed Brian O'Conner in the franchise.
In the letter, the American actor referred to his kids, 10-year-old daughter Pauline, named in honor of the father's diseased friend, "Pauline… Never got to meet her Uncle Pablo, but when I call her name, I know you’re near."
Notably, the star had shared a heartfelt throwback photo of his brother, the late Paul Walker day before, on November 29.
Vin penned the caption. “Twelve years… tomorrow…” later edited adding, “Not a day goes by… Miss you.”
He admitted how Kobe Bryant and Michael Caine helped and supported him as he was having dark days hiding a broken heart due to Walker’s death.
"These angels found me exactly when I needed them. I believe in my heart that they were sent by you."
He continued, "Pauline, your namesake, plays basketball now. Wears 24 and got MVP this season. Bet you and Kobe are smiling… together.
“Lil V, that little boy whose second birthday you came to in London… he’s fifteen now. Taller than me. Growing into a man you’d be so proud of. Like when you met my oldest and said he looked like you…"
He added, sharing all about his children’s progress over the years as if giving his beloved friend his life updates.
"I’d give anything to be irritated by you one more time," he wrote in the heartfelt note. Vin explained how he showed him how sacred fatherhood is.
He further updated, “When your mom saw me this summer, she looked right through me... Like she was searching for you. Like somehow, through my eyes, she could still find her son.
"She was right, you know. You were always my other half. I couldn’t have made it without your family’s love."
Vin added he had missed him on Thanksgiving and wished his family could understand him the way Paul did, as he could communicate with his silence.
