‘Sinners’ cast ‘freak out’ over electrifying news

The Sinners cast is apparently buzzing with excitement over the fact the movie has been a smash hit, and the honors that it could receive.

Ryan Coogler’s horror movie, which stars Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku and Jayme Lawson, has earned five Grammy nominations and more prestigious honours, such as Oscar nominations would not be surprising.

Speaking to People at The Running Man premiere, the Farewell Amor actress talked about the cast’s reactions to the award show buzz.

“The group chats are on fire. It was a lot of [screaming], you know, back and forth with each other [after the Grammy nominations were announced],” Jayme said, adding that they talk constantly.

“...the fact that [the hype] keeps continuing and potentially continues into next year, it's just an exciting, exciting, rewarding feeling,” she added of the Academy Awards chatter online.

Jayne also talked about the fact that although the cast is busy, they keep in touch with each other online, via texts and voice messages.
