Sean “Diddy” Combs is settling into a very different kind of life and surprisingly, he says he’s found something like family on the inside.

The 56-year-old music mogul, now serving a 50-month sentence for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, has been moved to the low-security FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he claims a “strong brotherhood” has welcomed him.

Speaking through his spokesperson, Diddy insisted prison isn’t what many imagine.

“There’s a lot of misinterpretations about prison. There is a strong brotherhood… It’s like a little bit of home in a dark place,” he said, describing how inmates look out for one another.

He proved that spirit over Thanksgiving, teaming up with an internal inmate group, Bankroll Bosses, to fund and prepare a full holiday dinner for every housing unit.

With no stoves or microwaves and only ID cards to cut ingredients, Diddy and fellow inmates still managed to serve turkey, mashed potatoes, corn and dessert to hundreds.

One organiser, former gang leader B.I., said they cooked enough food for “about 200 people each building,” taking two days to prepare.

Combs was transferred to Fort Dix on October 30 after complaining about harsh conditions at Brooklyn’s MDC, where a friend claimed he once woke to “a knife to his throat.”

His legal team requested the move for better rehabilitation access and now, despite the shadows of his charges, I'll Be Missing You hitmaker appears to have found the closest thing to comfort he can behind bars.
