American actor Billy Porter recalled Prince William’s surprising gesture towards him.
The Christmas Karma spent time with the Prince of Wales in South Africa last year.
The actor opened up about the prince’s kindness when he was sick.
While speaking to Hello! Magazine on November 26, the actor revealed how William was there for him when he fell sick.
“He heard that I was ill, and he sent me a get-well card”, the actor revealed.
Praising William for his kindness, Billy said this gesture reflects what king of a person he is.
In September, Billy was forced to withdraw from his starring role in Cabaret on Broadway after he was diagnosed with “a serious case”.
In November 2024, the actor teamed with William when he cohosted the fourth edition of the royal's Earthshot Prize Awards in Cape Town, South Africa.
Billy hosted the 2024 edition with South African television presenter Bonang Matheba.
Earthshot Awards are an initiative of the future king for the cause of environmentalism. The award honours winners eachyear and funds their projects to help with climate change.
