Taylor Swift’s album eponymous songs have been ranked by Billboard, and the list has divided the global popstar’s massive fan base.
The enormous fan following of the 14-time Grammy winner definitely means that backlash to some extent is likely, but this ranking appears to have upset a considerable amount of her fans over a major snub.
As per the list, Red takes the number one spot, followed by The Tortured Poets Department, and Fearless.
Following the top three are Lover, Speak Now, The Life of a Showgirl (feat. Sabrina Carpenter) and Evermore (feat. Bon Iver) respectively.
The swifties appear to be upset at the fact that the ninth studio album’s title track was ranked so low on the list, and have arguably been upset at its lack of proper appreciation and recognition since its release.
One internet user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “red first and evermore last did taylor rank these herself?”
“Ok with red but… evermore #7???? TTPD #2??? Are you sure?” added another, as a third wrote, “Never let them rank again. Evermore last seriously…” and a fourth noted, “never rate again please.”
On the flip side, some netizens added, “this is actually pretty fair im ngl, a decent ranking for once,” and “I agree with these rankings.”
Yes, Evermore was Taylor’s eighth consecutive number-one debut on the Billboard 200, with various other accolades.
