Sabrina Carpenter turns pop show into playful police scene with Amber Mark
Sabrina Carpenter stole the show on the opening night of her six-night, sold-out Short N Sweet Tour in Los Angeles by theatrically “arresting” Amber Mark.
The 26-year-old singer was midway through her set when she suddenly paused, as flashing lights and playful sirens filled the arena.
The Espresso singer walked over to Amber, playfully slapped on a pair of pink handcuffs, and jokingly declared her “under arrest for stealing the spotlight.”
The 31-year-old singer, laughing and playing along, accepted her on-stage detention, much to the delight of the roaring crowd.
It’s worth mentioning that this isn’t Sabrina’s first playful run-in on stage.
Earlier in the tour, she famously “arrested” stars including Gigi Hadid and Anne Hathaway, making her concerts a cheeky mix of music and mischief.
Fans have come to expect the unexpected, with the Please Please Please singer’s antics becoming a highlight of her live shows.
With five more nights to go in Los Angeles, the admirers are eagerly waiting to see who might be her next “prisoner” on the Short N Sweet stage.
