Tom Cruise has stepped into his first non-action movie in 13 years with Alejandro González Iñárritu and has shared the exclusive first look from the upcoming film.
After closing his decades-long, memorable action character Ethan Hunt, Cruise's next project with the Oscar-winning director is still untitled and has no official logline.
Despite Iñárritu's films remaining mysterious for so long, Cruise shared the first behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming film via social media.
Though the snap shared via Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) doesn’t reveal much from the skit, it is instead from a rehearsal where Cruise is seen leaning on a podium next to Iñárritu while some ornate stonework stands behind them.
“Today, I share the first photo taken last year during a rehearsal on the set of my new film with Alejandro G. Iñárritu,” he added in the caption.
The Oscar-winning actor continued, “Alejandro, 25 years ago I watched your first film, the classic Amores Perros. This weekend, 25 years later, I was deeply moved to have been presented the Honorary Oscar by you, my dear friend"
