Blake Lively’s $160M+ claims against Justin Baldoni hit a wall as Baldoni comes prepared to prove his innocence.
Baldoni has decided to move forward with the case by presenting explosive on-set footage, which his team refers to as major 'evidence'.
Previously, Lively filed a $161 million lawsuit against Baldoni for running a smear campaign to ruin her career, creating a hostile environment and sexual harassment on the set of ‘It Ends With Us’.
Now, the 41-year-old actor-director has come forward to share a deleted scene from the shoot that appears to sketch the narrative that Lively, in fact, made the first move.
The clip shared by My last Days creator shows the actress kissing him despite having no such requirement in the script, which his attorney argues is a direct contradiction of her ‘boundary crossing’ claims.
In new legal filings, Baldoni’s team claims Lively not only approved the moment but “oversaw the scene… that she herself added to the script.”
His lawyer further added, "oversaw the scene, filmed in May 2023, that she herself added to the script, in which her character kissed Baldoni's character in every take, although there was no kiss in the script."
The lawsuit filed by the 'It Ends with Us' lead actress is set for trial in March 2026.
