Summer Walker dropped jaws with her new album Finally Over It and added a little surprise in the new project for her fans.

After the Over It of 2019 gave a unique glimpse of her messy love life, Summer decided to sample Beyonce in one of her new tracks.

It was reported that the 29-year-old borrowed from the Grammy winning singer Beyonce’s song Yes in her own melody No.

This was appreciated by the online community with one X (formerly Twitter) playfully teasing: “Only Summer Walker would hear Beyonce say yes and polite but firm absolutely not.”

Another made a similar remark, noting: “Summer said no to commitment, not the sample,” while a fan called her talented artist for “referencing” Queen Bey.

While she honoured the musician with the beat, she was the singer to break the Diva crooner’s record of Lemonade with her Over It in 2019.

She unlocked a major milestone with the album by becoming the “most streamed by R&B artist ever.” The studio record debuted at No.2 at the Billboard charts.

Did Summer Walker crossed million streams with song?

The 44-year-old singer’s track inclusion might help her in the success of her album as last time the collaborative melody with Usher Come Thru garnered 154.7 million streams within a week.
