Ruby Rose earns praise for delivering blow to Sydney Sweeney

Ruby Rose has been candid about her dislike for Sydney Sweeney taking up the role of Christy, and her scathing critique has been praised by internet users.

The Orange Is the New Black actress took to her social media to write about the Immaculate actress’s portrayal of wrestler Christy Martin.

“For her PR to talk about it flopping and saying SS did it for the ‘people’. None of ‘the people’ want to see someone who hates them, parading around pretending to be us. You’re a cretin and you ruined the film. Period. Christy deserved better,” the Australian star wrote on the platform.

Ruby was talking about Sydney’s political views, which the latter has not outright confirmed but are linked with the Republican party.

The 39-year-old has been praised by netizens for her remarks against the Anyone But You actress, who has a fairly negative public image.

One internet user wrote, “celebs not afraid to talk shit anymore I used to pray for times like this GET HER AGAIN FOR ME.”

Another added, “aimee lou wood, dan stevens and now ruby rose oh she’s getting whacked left right centre,” referring to the other celebrities that have taken jabs against Sydney.
