Hailey Bieber dishes on birth of her viral lip phone case

The billionaire skincare and makeup brand founder, Hailey Bieber, is finally revealing where the idea for her viral Rhode Lip Case came from.

In the GQ interview published on Tuesday, November 11, the model and entrepreneur shared that the lip case was her idea.

“It was my idea,” she said. “We were sitting in a meeting, and I think we all kind of collectively had the ‘aha’ moment.”

Bieber reflected that while they were in the meeting, she had the sticky case on the back of her phone, “the suction thing,” she said. So, during the meeting, the founder kept sticking her lip to the suction, and that’s when it hit her.

The idea was an “eureka moment” for the team, as the GQ host said.

Bieber added that she quickly asked her team to Google if something like this had happened before, and, to her delight, it wasn’t anywhere in the world, not even on Amazon.

“I was like, ‘let’s try to do it as quickly as we can,’ and that’s how the phone case was born,” she said.
