Freakier Friday star Sophia Hammons opened up about what her co-star Jamie Lee Curtis refused to do while shooting.
Attending the 2025 WIF (Women in Film) Honors, she described her experience working with Curtis, who received the Jane Fonda Humanitarian Award.
Explaining that she’s willing to do almost anything, Hammons explained where the older actress draws the line, “That's the one thing about Jamie. She's always like, ‘I'm not going to sing.’ It's actually the one thing that she's like, ‘I'm not going to do.’”
"Otherwise," the star added, "she's game for all of it. She's so collaborative. She is always open to other ideas and working with other people. I mean, it was awesome to get to play off of her."
Recalling a scene which ended up becoming a blooper where they "were just shoving doughnuts in each other's mouths”, Hammons said, "I'm pretty sure Jamie ate 36 doughnuts that day. But again, she's game for it. She's game for all of it. She's awesome."
"She is lovely, she's wonderful, and she's so strong," she gushed further. “Her existence, on set, but also just in my life, has taught me so much."
