Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grandes perky reaction to Grammy nominations

Wicked producer Marc Platt and director Jon M. Chu revealed to the musical duo Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo that they have earned the Grammy nod.

The pair has been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises from the new fantasy sequel Wicked: For Good.

Both Grande and Erivo were seen giving a gagging reaction after learning about the prestigious award nod.

However, Grande’s fans believe that the Thank U, Next singer, who is already a two-time Grammy winner, was not as excited in the latest reaction.

Viewers on X (formerly Twitter) think Grande was faking her reaction and even exaggerating it in the clip.

“After they snubbed Ariana many times at the Grammys, I know she only pretended to gag because of Cynthia,” a user wrote.

Another user wrote, “I need Ariana to stop acting shocked… we know she dgaf about Grammys.”

“Ariana Grande acting like she just won an Emmy over Cynthia’s Grammy nom after the way they treated her is honestly killing me,” a user added.

However, other fans appreciated Grande hyping Erivo.

“Notice how Ari is congratulating Cynthia, state of love, bonding THAT'S REAL FRIENDSHIP,” a fan commented.
