Coldplay star Chris Martin shocked masses when he was reported to be dating British actress Sophie Turner.
The two have been bonding over their shared heritage of being British.
The new pair have been on several dates in London after meeting through mutual friends in the music industry.
As per US Weekly, Sophie has long admired the singer and they have had instant chemistry.
“They have gone out on a few dates in London. It is still very new, but they have a lot of chemistry, and there’s a definite spark between them”, the source reported.
The source further added “They have a lot in common, and Chris is definitely her type. They have bonded over being British and their love for music.”
Sophie, who rose to fame for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, was born in Northampton, England and later raised in Chesterton, Warwickshire.
Meanwhile, Chris was born in Exeter and raised between UK and Zimbabwe.
Both have recently came out of relationships and have been previously divorced.
The actress was married to Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas with whom she shares two daughters.
The Yellow singer was married to American actress Gwyneth Paltrow with whom he has two kids.
