Christina Perri files for divorce from husband after seven years of marriage

Christina Perri has decided to separate paths with husband Paul Costabile after a seven-year long marriage.

The A Thousand Years singer-songwriter filed for divorce from Costabile in court on Monday November 3rd.

Perri and Costabile were officially declared man and wife on December 12, 2017 and shares two daughters together Carmella Stanley 7, and Pixie Rose 2.

However, on the Monday morning, Perri decided to quit on the seven year long bond and appeared before the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, to file for divorce documents.

In the documents submitted in court and obtained by the PEOPLE Magazine, the Jar of Hearts vocalist stated the reason for divorcing her husband Costabile as “irreconcilable differences.”

Moreover, she also requested for a joint legal and physical custody of their daughters and wishes for court to halt any spousal support to Costabile.

It is pertinent to mention here that the couple were bonded with a prenuptial agreement.

According to the agreement, it was decided a day before their wedding in 2017 that the couple will get separated on November 3, 2025.

Costabile announced the news of his marriage to Perri, who was also pregnant at the time, on Instagram by dropping picture in front of a green screen and a sweet caption.
