Pokimane exposes fan for flirting before engagement

Beloved Twitch streamer Pokimane took on the responsibility of exposing a certain fan participating in suspicious behavior.

In her latest stream, she admitted to a male fan complimenting and texting her for weeks to ask her out on a date.

The act in itself was not strange for her, with more than 9 million followers, however, what shocked her was the man’s engagement announcement.

“Tell me why this guy has been DMing me for months, trying to link up, responding to my outfit pics, etc. And he just announced his engagement on Instagram,” Pokiemane revealed.

She continued, "It pisses me off because it’s in that gray area of like, I don’t think that this warrants messaging the girl and being like, ‘hey girl.’ But also it’s f****** odd. Then again, maybe they’re in an open relationship. I don’t freaking know.”

Fans were quick to sympathize with the awkward position that the streamer has been put in, acknowledging that “many women in her position must deal with strange gray area interactions with men.”

“The fact that such patterns of behavior surprise some individuals in the room gives me the impression they don’t know s*** about the world," remarked another fan.
