Ariana Grande reveals her favourite song that Glinda sings

The highly anticipated sequel Wicked: For Good is ready to hit theatres this month; ahead of its release, Ariana Grande revealed her favorite song from the movie musical.

“‘Thank Goodness’ is my favorite song Glinda sings,” Grande recently said about her favorite track from the upcoming movie.

The singer loves that song the most because it’s when the audience can finally see Glinda, Grande’s character in the movie, crack and try her best.

“But this is the moment where she knows that this can’t last in this way,” the Thank U, Next singer continued.

Grande assured that she keeps her personal experiences away from Glinda while she is in character. Despite this, “I can certainly acknowledge that this is a moment I've experienced in my own life and career before,” she said.

“I do believe that the things she struggles with in this second film are why I was meant to play her, more so than the comedic bits," Grande explained.

The Wicked: For Good cast features Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, Grande as Glinda, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, and Colman Domingo voicing the Cowardly Lion.

Wicked: For Good will release in theatres on November 21.
