Jennifer Aniston’s beau Jim Curtis gives rare love advice

Jennifer Aniston’s new love interest, Jim Curtis, has something to say about finding love regardless of age.

On Wednesday, October 29, the hypnotherapist shared a video clip from an Instagram Q&A in which he responded to the question, “How do you find love at 42?”

“That’s a great question, the same way you do at 22 or 32, but with more confidence, more experience, and more authenticity,” Curtis said. “You’re not old. First, love yourself and recognize that you are the perfect age.”

The author noted that at 42, life is far from over, adding that when people reach 62 or 72, they often look back and wish they could return to that age.

“So start now,” he continued. “Go out, open yourself to love. Make eye contact and smile. Connect with people, and most importantly, love yourself.”

Curtis added that loving oneself “magnetizes” more love into their life.

Curtis was first linked to Aniston in July after the two were spotted getting cozy on a yacht. Since then, the author has shown steady support for the Friends alum, attending The Morning Show Season 4 premiere alongside her in September and joining her for a double dinner date with Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, in August.

“They’re casually dating and having fun,” a source previously confirmed to PEOPLE.
