Miley Cyrus, who’s no stranger to doing things her own unique way, has revealed that she doesn’t just wear makeup; she sings through it.
The 32-year-old superstar, newly crowned global brand ambassador for Maybelline, wowed fans at a glamorous launch party in Los Angeles, celebrating the brand’s latest Moisturizing Serum Lipsticks.
The songstress told the crowd, “You truly can’t have Maybelline without Miley — it’s kind of in the name!” opening up about her creative process.
The Wrecking Ball hitmaker went on to call the collaboration “serendipitous” and “written in destiny”, adding that she believes every part of her life has unfolded with “divine timing.”
“I’ve always used makeup as a microphone — to deeply express what I’m trying to convey through my lyrics, my poetry, my art,” she continued, explaining how beauty and music intertwine in her world.
For the unversed, Miley first announced her partnership with Maybelline in September, calling it an “honour” to represent the iconic brand she grew up watching on TV.
She’s even re-recorded the famous “Maybe she’s born with it, Maybe it’s Maybelline” jingle, giving it her own twist.
Miley Cyrus won her first-ever Grammy Awards in 2024 for her smash hit Flowers.
The song, taken from her critically acclaimed album Endless Summer Vacation, earned her two major wins, Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
