Victoria Beckham, known for her bold fashion choices, has recently made a revelation that has left her fans surprised.
The 51-year-old fashion designer, fresh off the success of her Netflix documentary, appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper.
The former Spice Girls star confessed she used to carry a fake Louis Vuitton handbag, and it took the brand’s then-creative director Marc Jacobs to set things straight.
Victoria, famously known as Posh Spice, recalled being photographed in the early 2000s carrying a counterfeit Louis Vuitton Graffiti Alma bag while out shopping with her husband, David Beckham.
“This was not a real Louis Vuitton bag,” she laughed.
“Marc Jacobs saw the picture and said, ‘I’m going to send you a real one because this was a snide.’ Not as posh as you think.”
The mum-of -four admitted she was struggling to “stay relevant” after her music career ended, saying the fake bag reflected her insecurity at the time.
“I didn’t have the creative outlet I do now,” she shared.
Nowadays, Victoria’s handbag collection is all authentic, thanks to David’s love for gifting her luxury accessories.
This revelation comes shortly after she released her own Netflix documentary, offering fans an intimate look into her life, career, and the many phases that shaped her journey from Posh Spice to a global fashion icon.
