King Charles is set to take on a new role.
On Saturday, a glimpse onto the king’s role on his first ever podcast was shared.
The British monarch will be starring on his new podcast, called Unearthed: The need for seeds.
The series will feature the king with Kew’s award-winning podcast with Kew’s Ambassador for Wakehurst, Cate Blanchett celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Millennium Seed Bank at Wakehurst.
A joint post was shared on Instagram by royal family and Kew Gardens, which Charles has been a patron of since 2016.
A clip was shared with the caption “‘Unearthed: The need for seeds’ available now wherever you get your podcasts!”
The podcast will mark the 25th anniversary of the seed bank.
The King officially opened the Millennium Seed Bank in 2000, as Prince of Wales, and most recently visited in 2019.
For five decades, Charles has used his position to champion action for a sustainable future.
The podcast gives a glimpse into King’s candid conversation and the importance of seed preservation.
