Sarah Ferguson’s reaction to Andrew’s title surrender has been revealed by a close pal of the former Duchess.
The former couple, who were married from 1986 to 1996, lost their royal titles, including Duke and Duchess of York, after Andrew announced he will be surrendering them.
The decision was made after Andrew faced major backlash regarding his scandals, including the shocking Jeffrey Epstein controversy.
Fergie also landed in deep trouble after her emails to the late felon surfaced online.
However, a close friend of Sarah has told Page Six that she still stands behind her former husband.
The source said “Sarah will always stand by Andrew”.
The person commented on Sarah’s eternal love for the former duke saying “she will always have love for him.”
On her response to the title surrender, the friends said “Sarah is relaxed … it’s always been a courtesy title.”
Soon after the title loss news, the former couple was hit with another bow when MPs raised the concern on their residence at the Royal Lodge in the UK Parliament.
It was expected that an inquiry is to be launched to find out why they have been living at the lodge for two decades.
