Lewis Capaldi opened up about the American version of the Royal wedding, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s nuptials with an unexpected tradeoff for a wedding invite.
The Scottish singer met the global popstar in a recent interview, so its only natural for people to be curious if he snagged an invite.
In a chat with BBC Radio 2’s The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, the Someone You Loved crooner revealed that although he was not expecting to receive an invite, he could make himself useful at the wedding.
Lewis stated that even though his offers are not as relevant as the others, he can provide a specific item in the menu.
"My dad is a fishmonger. My dad will supply the fish, Taylor, my dad will supply the fish for you — the freshest fish, by the way, for your wedding,” he said.
The 29-year-old has previously noted that he hasn’t been invited at an event by the Now That We Don’t Talk singer since 2019, when he went to her birthday.
Meanwhile host Scott teased that he might receive and invite, to which Lewis added that he would love an evening invite, where he doesn’t have to sit through the actual ceremony.
Yes, Taylor is engaged to Travis, and the betrothed pair announced their engagement via Instagram.
