Pete Davidson’s lavish date steals spotlight from Kim Kardashian drama

Pete Davidson, best known for his high-profile relationships, just proved he’s the ultimate boyfriend by surprising his pregnant girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt.

The 31-year-old comedian, who rose to fame as one of the youngest-ever cast members on Saturday Night Live, treated Elsie to a luxury private jet date to see Paul McCartney perform live.

He secretly organised the romantic getaway on Friday, flying the 29-year-old model to Minnesota for McCartney’s concert at U.S. Bank Stadium.

She shared snippets of the surprise on her Instagram Stories, captioning one photo: “Pete is taking me on a surprise date.” 

Moments later, she revealed the destination, and burst into tears when she realised she was seeing her musical hero.

“I’m crying, he’s so cute,” Elsie wrote, before revealing that Pete had arranged an even bigger surprise, a private meeting with the legendary Beatle himself. 

“That was really like a special lil bucket list moment for me,” she gushed. 

“Do I have the sweetest, most thoughtful boyfriend or what?”

The couple, who went public in March and announced their pregnancy in July, have been inseparable ever since.

Pete's grand gesture comes just as his ex, Kim Kardashian, revisited their brief 2021–2022 romance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, reflecting on how Kanye West’s “Eazy” video, in which Pete was depicted being buried alive left her “really sad.”
