Singer Lily Allen is opening about her upcoming album, specifically the lyrics and what they might represent.
With some of the songs following the deterioration of her marriage with David Harbour, the lyrics of Sleepwalking read, "You let me think it was me in my head / And nothing to do with them girls in your bed.”
She reportedly sings in Dallas Major, “You know I used to be quite famous that was way back in the day / I probably should explain how my marriage has been open since my husband went astray."
In an interview with British Vogue, she was asked if these lyrics were direct references to her relationship with Harbour to which Allen responded, "There are things that are on the record that I experienced within my marriage, but that’s not to say that it’s all gospel. It is inspired by what went on in the relationship."
It was confirmed in February by multiple sources that the pair had split up after being married for four years.
They were initially linked together in 2019, and ended up tying the knot in 2020 in Las Vegas.
Certain sources claimed that the singer was "devastated and not in a good place" following the split.
Later on in her podcast, she made some very pointed comments about men who prefer younger women.
