Taylor Swift fans raise $2 million after her appearance

Taylor Swift is one of the most influential people in the world who impacts masses around the world.

The pop star has been promoting her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which prompted a massive fundraiser.

Sharing the behind the scenes footage of her album-making process, Taylor took her fans on a trip behind the camera.

In one of the clips, the Lover singer was spotted wearing a vintage shirt with an otter on it.

Eagle-eyes fans were quick to find out that the shirt was a faded Monterey Bay Aquarium shirt with an illustrated graphic for sea otters.

The outlet received high demand for the shirts which they responded to on Instagram revealing they have raised $2 million.

“We never thought we’d hit our goal in 7 hours and then almost double it in less than 2 days, raising over 2.3 million!”, the official page for the aquarium wrote.

The post comes after it was revealed Taylor made a donation of $100,000 for a two-year-old girl named Lilah, who is battling with cancer.
