Benny Blanco, who recently married pop superstar Selena Gomez, wrote a playful and heartwarming note to his wife amid her busy schedule.
The 33-year-old singer is currently occupied with producing a new project and promoting her cosmetic line, Rare Beauty.
The Only Murders in the Building star also recently attended The Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit, an annual gathering of influential figures from business, government, philanthropy, and the arts, held in Washington, D.C., from October 13 to 15.
After the event concluded, Selena returned home to a sweet surprise from her loving husband, who had stayed behind at their Los Angeles residence.
A picture posted by the songstress revealed a charming note from Benny, accompanied by a basket filled with Fritos corn chips, Cheetos, Airheads candy, M&M minis, Tostitos Salsa Con Queso dip, and two lilies of the valley flowers.
The note from the American music producer read, “I know I’m being dramatic, but a day without you feels like an eternity!”
He added that he wanted the Calm Down hitmaker to feel at home when she returned, so he had prepared the thoughtful basket.
Ending the note with an “I love you,” Benny’s gesture was made even more special by the inclusion of the same flowers the pop star had carried in her wedding bouquet.
Notably, the lilies of the valley symbolise the “return of happiness,” making the small but heartfelt gesture even more meaningful.
American actress and singer Selena Gomez married music producer Benny Blanco on Sept. 27 in California, two years after they began dating.
The star-studded ceremony included Taylor Swift, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Rudd, Cara Delevingne, Ed Sheeran and SZA.
