Dwayne Johnson has shared the one skincare secret he believes every man should add to their daily routine.
The 54-year-old Hollywood star declared facial toner the “quiet superpower” of grooming while promoting Disney’s live-action Moana, which landed in cinemas on Friday.
As he continues to expand his Papatui lifestyle brand, the former WWE champion admitted he wants more men to stop feeling awkward about looking after their skin.
Speaking to People magazine, Dwayne didn’t hesitate when asked which product deserves more attention.
“It’s toner. Dudes, you must use toner,” he said, explaining that the product is often overlooked despite its benefits.
Rather than borrowing products from the women in their lives, he joked that he decided to create his own solution by launching Papatui in 2024.
The range includes facial toner, cleanser, moisturiser, eye gel, body wash, haircare, and fragrances, with the Smashing Gun actor naming the toner and volcanic ash facial scrub among his personal favourites.
His skincare line sparked plenty of laughs online earlier this year after a TikTok creator questioned why the famously bald star was selling shampoo and conditioner.
Dwayne responded with his trademark humour by posting a video wearing Maui’s flowing locks from the new Moana film, quipping: “Sometimes a Demigod’s radiant and ravishing hair needs shampoo/conditioner.”
Away from skincare, the Zootopia star is back as the larger-than-life demigod Maui in Disney’s live-action Moana, starring alongside Catherine Lagaʻaia as the adventurous island heroine.
Notably, the cast also features Jemaine Clement, John Tui, Frankie Adams and Rena Owen.
The actor has also confirmed that Moana 3 is already in development, ensuring fans can expect even more adventures from one of Disney’s most successful modern franchises.
