As Liam’s first death anniversary draws closer, Kate is facing heavy backlash.

The 26-year-old joined a viral social media trend where one person tries to lift another off the ground using only one arm.

While she fails to do the challenge as her friend drops her, she posts the clip with the caption “Okay, maybe I do need a man.”

The move was heavily criticised by Liam’s fans and Kate’s followers who believed it was disrespectful of her to say that.

A user commented “Doing and saying this five days before the one-year anniversary of his passing is wild.”

Another said “Stop posting about him — it’s so messed up that one moment you’re sad about Liam and the next you’re saying you need a man.”

This is not the first time the model has been called out as previously she was criticised for sharing Liam and her personal details.
