American singer Chappell Roan revealed she was not going to do the US tour.
Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, who is famously known as Chappell Roan, enjoyed global success with her 2023 album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.
However, the singer revealed she almost cancelled the tour following the success.
Speaking at the final show of her three-city Visions of Damsels and Dangerous Things tour in Pasadena, the singer said she was “really questioning”.
“I wasn’t gonna do a US tour until the very last minute, I decided to do one,”, the singer confessed.
She further said she feels grateful that she changed her decision and did go on tour.
“I’m so glad I did. It’s so fun. This job is so awesome. Thank you for making it awesome,”, she said.
The singer opened up about her mental health struggle and moments of introspection while addressing the crowd.
“Everything made sense this year: Why I do this. Last year, I was really questioning, ‘Why am I doing this to myself? I’m so sad. I feel so left out in public. I feel so awkward all the time.’”
Chappell then thanked her fans for being there and reassured the crowd that they are “safe”.
