Taylor Swift leaves fans shocked with new announcement

American pop star Taylor Swift has left her fans worldwide shocked with a big announcement.

The pop icon made the announcement exactly 10 days after she dropped her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl.

Taking to social media, the singer announced that she will be releasing the behind the scenes footage of her record-breaking tour, Eras tour that wrapped up in 2024 after 149 shows.

Sharing a post on Instagram, she wrote, “It was the End of an Era and we knew it.”

“We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”, she further wrote.

The docuseries will be titled The Eras Tour | The Final Show and will feature the entire Tortured Poets Department set and the first two episodes of The End of an Era.

The 6-episode series will drop on December 12, 2025. The date is particularly special as it marks the eve of Taylor’s 36th birthday.

The Eras tour became the highest grossing tour of all time as the pop star toured the world for two years.
