Jonas Brothers summon One Direction fans: 'best song ever'

The Jonas Brothers are seemingly aware of the fact that the internet believes in their power of bringing back iconic bands, which they used to cleverly catch the attention of One Direction fans.

Since the boy band, which consists of Nick, Joe and Kevin has embarked on its Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour, they have brought out a number of surprise guests, and bands, people thought they would never get to see again.

The brothers have made headlines for bringing out Demi Lovato, and reuniting Fifth Harmony, and the list of surprising tour reunions reignited a longing buried deep in the hearts of directioners, a revival of their favourite pop boy band.

In their latest announcement of a surprise guest, Nick contemplates as an audience member if the Jonas Brothers will play…when Joe interrupts, “the best song ever?!”

The clip then cuts to the Sucker hit makers performing the popular track Unwritten with Natasha Bedingfield.

Since Best Song Ever is a well-known track by One Direction, fans of the band flooded the comments of the post to express how brutal the misdirect was.

‘“Best song ever” yeah my stomach dropped,” one netizen wrote under the post, whie another added, “For a hot second I thought you were gonna bring out One Direction.”

A third internet user echoed, “DONT YOU DARE SAY THE BEST SONG EVER BC I LITERALLY THINK OF ONE DIRECTION.”
