Dua Lipa turned Los Angeles into one giant dance floor on her Radical Optimism Tour, and last night’s gig reached legendary levels when none other than Lionel Richie joined her on stage.
“I thought tonight, for you wonderful people, we’d do something really iconic,” Lipa told the cheering crowd.
“And it just so happens that person is here tonight. So please, Los Angeles, welcome the one and only Lionel Richie!”
With that, the 75-year-old music icon strutted on stage, matching the Levitating singer's high-energy performance as they belted out the timeless hit All Night Long.
Fans went wild as the duo encouraged everyone to sing, dance, and feel the rhythm in their feet.
After joining the 30-year-old pop sensation on stage, the American Idol judge hopped on Instagram to share his excitement about the unforgettable evening.
“L.A. — what a night! [boom emoji],” he wrote alongside a fan-shot clip of their performance.
“@dualipa and I went All Night Long, and the energy from the crowd was unreal. Absolutely electric! [flash emoji]”
The appearance continues the songstress’s trend of surprise guest spots on her tour.
Previous cities have seen Lenny Kravitz in New York, Leon Bridges in Dallas, and appearances from legends like Chaka Khan, Nile Rodgers, and modern stars including Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, and Vance Joy.
