Britney Spears makes shocking revelation in latest video

Pop icon Britney Spears has revealed she injured her knee after taking a nasty tumble down a friend’s stairs.

The 43-year-old singer, widely known for her chart-topping hits, took to Instagram to share a video of herself dancing and posing to Robin Thicke’s 2006 classic Lost Without U, while fans quickly noticed her right leg and hands were covered in bandages.

Explaining the injuries in her caption, the Gimme More hitmaker wrote: “My boys had to leave and go back to Maui. This is how I express myself and pray through art... I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house... it was horrible. 

It snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now it’s snapped in!!! Thank u God.”

While Britney insisted she’s not seeking pity, fans remain uneasy. 

The pop star’s infamous home dancing clips have sparked concern in the past, especially after one chaotic August post where clutter and what appeared to be dog mess could be seen on the floor.

In another video, the Toxic singer playfully sang her own off-key version of Prince’s Kiss, joking that she looked like “Julia Roberts singing off key.”

Despite disabling comments, fans who reposted the video on X questioned her wellbeing, with one writing: “She needs help.” 

Another added: “You can’t help but feel sorry for her.”

Why did Britney Spears quit acting?

Britney Spears hasn’t officially quit acting, but has chosen to stay away from it for personal and professional reasons. 

The pop icon made her film debut in 2002 with Crossroads, a coming-of-age movie that, despite mixed reviews, became a cult favourite among fans. 

However, she later admitted that filming was emotionally exhausting and that acting didn’t come naturally to her. 

At the time, her focus remained on her booming music career, which left little room for pursuing acting roles. 

Over the years, her life became dominated by the pressures of fame and, later, the 13-year conservatorship that tightly controlled her personal and professional decisions. 

Since regaining her freedom in 2021, Britney has expressed a desire to focus on her well-being and live life on her own terms, away from Hollywood and the entertainment industry’s demands.
