Sabrina Carpenter, who recently released her new album Man’s Best Friend, performed a steamy act by with Joe Keery during ACL performance.

The Stranger Things star raised eyebrows when he was spotted in the crowd, getting arrested after asking Sabrina to handcuff him.

However, things did not stop there as the pop icon and Joe reportedly proceeded to follow each other on Instagram, sending fans in to a frenzy.

After news began to make the rounds on the internet, fans speculated that there might be something more than just friendship between the two.

One of the X users pointed out, “Something about this connection is clicking for me,” while another prayed: “Please God make it happen.”

Referring to his character of caretaker Steve Harrington from the show, a netizen teased: “I mean she already knows he can take care of children.”

A fan gushed about the act, writing on the platform: “This better be a soft launch.”

Meanwhile, the two stars are yet to confirm if their admirers are about to get an unexpected crossover.

Joe’s relationship status appears to be ambiguous with many sources citing his last relationship with Maika Monroe from 2017 to 2022.

On the other hand, the Grammy winner is currently single after her last relationship with Barry Keoghan which ended in 2024.
