Taylor Swift, who is notable for being a pop star, shocked everyone with new announcement after releasing new album The Life Of A Showgirl on October 3.
Although the 35-year-old singer initially revealed there will be no additional tracks, Taylor took to her Instagram to alert Swifties.
In one of the social media updates, the 14-Grammy winner called her followers to “file this under ‘save your best for the finale.’”
The songstress decided to release bonus tracks on the new record as she admired the “acoustic surprises” during her Eras tour.
For this purpose, Taylor joined Max Martin and Shellback again “to record acoustic/unplugged versions” of some tracks from the new release with “brand new vocals and production.”
She revealed the name of the additions:
“Life Is A Song Acoustic Version with “Opalite (Life Is A Song Acoustic Version)” and “Ruin the Friendship (My Advice Version)”
“Dressing Room Rehearsal Version with “Wi$h Li$t (Settled Down Acoustic Version)” and “The Life of a Showgirl (Dressing Room Rehearsal Acoustic Version)”
“Alone In My Tower Acoustic Version with “The Fate of Ophelia (Alone In My Tower Acoustic Version)” and “Eldest Daughter (Now You’re Home Acoustic Version)”
“So Glamorous Cabaret Version with “Elizabeth Taylor (So Glamorous Cabaret Version)” and Elizabeth Taylor (Original Songwriting Voice Memo)”
These will be included in four limited CD releases, each having two acoustic bonus tracks” that have been made available on her official website for 24 hours.
This came after The Life Of A Showgirl broke records on several platforms, becoming the most-streamed album on its debut day.
Moreover, it was reported that the musician successfully sold around 2.7 million copies on the first day of its launch.
