Taylor Swift, fresh off the release of her highly anticipated 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, has opened up about a deeply personal aspect of her life.
The 35-year-old pop superstar has admitted she never imagined herself walking down the aisle until Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce came into her life.
The Bad Blood singer recently appeared on Heart Radio with Emma Bunton, where she revealed that marriage had never been on her radar before her romance with Kelce.
“You’d think I’d have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about it until I met the person,” she revealed.
“This is the first time I’ve thought about things like hen dos or what I’d want on the day.”
While Emma pointed out that Taylor has a “good girl gang” to help her prepare, the songstress confessed her friends are “scattered around the world,” making wedding planning a little tricky.
For the unversed, the Eras Tour hitmaker announced her engagement to the NFL player earlier this year.
While speaking about the moment, the songstress gushed over Kelce’s over-the-top proposal, which took place in a specially built garden at his home while she was appearing on his New Heights podcast in August.
“He really crushed it – 10 out of 10,” she laughed.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been together for around two years.
The pair first sparked dating rumours in September 2023, when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end publicly mentioned inviting Taylor to one of his games.
She was then spotted attending several Chiefs matches, which sent fans into a frenzy and confirmed their romance.
