Julia Roberts' unusual tribute to notable figure steals spotlight

Julia Roberts, who is notable for her role in Notting Hill, turned heads with a bold choice of fashion as she stepped out in New York City.

After the 57-year-old actress’ new movie After The Hunt premiered, Julia decided to pay a homage to two notable figures.

Instead of gushing about them on an Instagram post, the Pretty Woman actress donned a front-open trench coat with sparkly William Shakespeare portrait at the back.

The Hollywood A-list star paired the upper with a graphic dress which featured Luca Guadagnino, the director of the upcoming movie. 

The coat from the Libertine Spring 2026 Collection was recently debuted at New York Fashion Show in September as dished by WWD.

This came after the critics analysed her 2025 psychological thriller where she shares screen with Andrew Garfield. It was pointed out that the storyline asks several interesting questions without any answers.

While the reviews pointed out that the viewers deserve a closure towards the end, Julia revealed in the interview that the cast are open to welcome the ambiguity that surrounds it.

She admitted that the star ensemble are enjoying the confusion that arises from the plot which centres around a professor whose colleague is accused of sexual harassment.

When is After The Hunt releasing?

The movie is all set to release on October 10 after premiering globally at the Venice International Film Festival on August 29, 2025.
