Mariah Carey, who recently released her 16th studio album Here for It All, made a shocking admission about collaborating with late Michael Jackson.
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the 56-year-old singer was asked some of the much anticipated questions.
While speaking with the host, Mariah confirmed that there is a collaborative project that features "King of Pop" Michael on the track.
However, the song might never see the light of day as the Obsessed hitmaker gave an update on its status.
When asked by the host if the collaboration was “in the vault,” the icon denied as she revealed “its right there but there’s an issue with his state.”
Mariah claimed “they’re doing something really huge for [Michael]” and this release would “usurp the situation.”
Andy asked the Grammy winner if she likes it, the singer instantly gushed, “I love it and I’m so upset that it’s not coming out on this album.”
The track is “one of his classics” with her singing along with some “new background vocals.” She requested the viewers to contact “his management” to tell them “we want to hear this.”
In the same interview, the Emotions crooner opened up about her desire to be a Super Bowl performer after Bad Bunny was announced to be headlining in upcoming season of 2026.
