Aimee Lou Wood opens up about calling out SNL sketch

English actress Aimee Lou Wood does not regret her decisions.

The actress was portrayed on the American show Saturday Night Live with large teeth in a skit earlier this year.

The White Lotus star did not let it go easily and called the showmakers out for being “mean and unfunny”.

In a scene where Aimee’s character, Chlesea, played by Sarah Sherman in the sketch, emerged with prosthetic teeth, which were exaggeratedly large.

“I don't regret saying it because it was breaking a pattern, which is what I would usually do – what I did when I was younger and got bullied.”, Aimee told BBC News.

The skit was mainly a political satire about Donald Trump, however, it was not received well with many condemning it for its ignorance.

Aimee said “No matter what chaos came from it, I'm still happy for me and my personal journey that I said something.”

The actress received apologies from multiple people and Sarah also sent her apology flowers.
