In a statement issued by ABC, it was noted that Jimmy would be returning again after his show was taken off air to “avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.”

It has now been decided by the broadcasting channel to return the show after they “spent last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy.”

As a result, they reached “the decision to return the show on Tuesday” while many protesters raised their voices against the suspension, calling it “deeply destructive.”

The demonstrators insisted that the move to cancel the broadcast signals a threat to the right to free speech, which might have added pressure on the channel to reverse their decision after a week.

Apart from fans, his co-hosts and colleagues also broke their silence to show support to the comedian after he slammed President Donald Trump.
