Taylor Swift reteams with AMC Theatres to celebrate her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
After the Grammy-winning singer confirmed the release date of her secret film for October 3, Deadline reported that AMC will partner with Swift for the theatrical release.
Other reports say Swift’s new movie will be an 89-minute-long feature titled Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.
The film, which runs just under 90 minutes and will screen only from October 3 to 5, includes behind-the-scenes clips from the Ophelia music video shoot, lyric videos from other tracks on Showgirl, and some of Swift’s never-before-shared reflections, according to Variety.
Swift announced her highly anticipated album on Instagram, writing, “I hereby invite you to a dazzling soirée, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 - Oct 5 only in cinemas!”
The Eras Tour star added, “You’ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single ‘The Fate of Ophelia’.”
She concluded, “Looks like it’s time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan… Tickets are on sale now. Dancing is optional but very much encouraged.”
