James Middleton couldn’t hide his pride after his sister, Princess Kate, stole the spotlight at the glittering state banquet at Windsor Castle.
The 38-year-old entrepreneur took to Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 17, to react to the official photo of Kate and Prince William shared on the couple’s social media.
“Proud to be British,” James wrote, praising his sister’s show-stopping appearance as she joined King Charles, Queen Camilla, and senior royals in welcoming US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
Kate stunned in a couture gown by Phillipa Lepley, paired with a gold Chantilly lace evening coat. She accessorized with Queen Elizabeth II’s diamond earrings, the Royal Family Orders of Charles III and Elizabeth II, and the Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order star and sash. Completing the look was her go-to Lover’s Knot Tiara.
Over the summer, James had shared glimpses of his own family life, posting photos from a French holiday with his wife Alizée.
Speaking earlier this year, he reflected on how the Middleton family rallied around Kate during past challenges, stressing the importance of communication and support.
