Kate Middleton and First Lady Melania Trump enjoyed a warm and playful outing with children as they carried out their first joint engagement at Frogmore House in Windsor.
Just hours after dazzling at the glittering state banquet, the Princess of Wales, 43, and Melania, 55, joined Squirrel Scouts from Lewisham for a morning of outdoor activities.
The pair took part in parachute games, leaf painting, and building bug hotels alongside children aged four to six, who were working towards their “Go Wild” badges.
Chief Scout Dwayne Fields praised Kate’s natural connection with the children: “She loves to share stories about her own kids, which really helps build a bond.” He added that Melania was equally engaging, asking questions and even joining in the artwork.
One unfiltered moment saw a child innocently ask Melania: “Are you the next princess?” sparking laughter among the group. Fields said the question showed the “beauty of young people’s honesty.”
The event ended with the women handing out badges, before receiving special Scout patches from the children in return.
