Mel B comments on Spice Girls missing her wedding
Mel B got married to Rory McPhee in July
Spice Girls star Mel B got married in July and only one of her bandmates attended the ceremony.
Melanie Brown, famously known as Scary Spice, tied the knot with Rory McPhee at London's St. Paul's Cathedral in July and later had another event in Morocco to celebrate the union.
Interestingly, only Emma Bunton attended the London ceremony meanwhile, only Mel C attended the Morocco party.
The singer has now admitted that she did not expect her bandmates to show up at any event.
“I didn’t expect any of them to come, to be honest, because it was a very intimate, private thing, and I know everybody’s busy.”, she told the New York Post.
She also mentioned that Victoria Beckham was busy but did send her wedding gifts.
Similarly, she mentioned how Geri Horner missed her events because she was busy with Formula One as her husband Christian Horner was recently caught up in controversies.
“Everyone’s doing their own thing ... They all sent me well-wishes and we had lovely FaceTimes”, she added.
Melanie also told the outlet that she was surprised when Emma and Mel C later showed up.
