Niall Horan has opened up about his solo journey after leaving the band, 1D and how it's going for him.
Opening up about his success, the former member of One Direction also revealed his complicated feelings towards seeing his friends become more successful each day,
The Irish singer first started with bandmates, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and late singer, Liam Payne at the same level.
Soon after leaving the band in 2016, everyone went solo and earned love from their fans differently.
Although Niall said that he is proud of them, he also explained that he is almost "jealous" of their win.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, he gushed, "Watching mates release stuff is fuel to the fire, there’s nearly a jealousy to it,"
It is to be noted that the Watermelon Sugar High hit maker is considered the most successful member of the group, followed by Zayn.
He also added, "My solo career has been a nice slow build, which is the idea because the aim is to have a bit of longevity – my favourite artists have had 50-year careers,"
Notably, one of the vocalists of the popular boy group passed away in October 2024.
