Jimmy Kimmel has spoken about his long standing public feud with Donald Trump.

In the conversation, the 58-year-old host revealed that he doesn’t feel bad toward Trump, even after years of public back and forth.

Speaking to Vulture, the late night host addressed his ongoing public feud with Trump and reflected on how their relationship has unfolded over the years.

“I feel sorry for him. He obviously didn’t get hugged a lot,” he said during the interview.

He also talked about his friendship with comedian Adam Carolla, who had openly supported Trump in recent years, saying,

“I love Adam, and he loves me, and I’ve just decided that if I could change his mind, I would try to do that, but I don’t think I can. I don’t think fighting with them helps.”

Addressing Trump directly, he described him as “different,” adding, “I don’t love him,” but “I don’t hate him, either.”

The comments come amid continued attention on their strained dynamic, which has played out publicly over the years through televised remarks and political commentary, including renewed criticism exchanged earlier this year.
