Model Daphne Joy has broken her silence after an alleged explicit video involving her, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and another man was leaked online.
The 39-year-old model insisted that she “never consented” to being filmed and describing the ordeal as “abuse”.
She took to Instagram on Monday to address the controversy after clips began circulating on social media, with online speculation linking the footage to Combs’ alleged private ‘Freak Off’ parties.
In a raw and emotional statement, Daphne wrote: “Everybody plays the fool sometime, and I have been the biggest fool.”
She reflected on her past relationship, saying she had once believed she was acting out of love.
“I just wanted my man at the time to be happy and satisfied,” she added, suggesting she had gone beyond her own boundaries in the relationship.
However, she said she now sees things differently, admitting it was “far from love” and deeply painful to process.
Daphne also alleged she never agreed to the recording of the video and claimed she was later threatened and blackmailed over its release.
She said she was asked for a “lump sum of money” to prevent it being shared online.
According to her statement, she initially considered paying but refused, after which the footage was allegedly sold to a media outlet.
She added that the company later pulled back once it realised the material could be considered revenge porn and linked to extortion.
The alleged tapes have not been verified.
Combs is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence following a conviction for transportation for prostitution.
Rapper 50 Cent, the father of Daphne’s son, also reacted online, writing: “She’s not a victim, SIRE is.”
